Learning Resources Centre / Library Study Skills
This module will orient you to the services available to online and distance
students. Most courses require students to use some resources beyond their
course material and textbooks. This model will help you become aware of
what services and resources are available and how to access them.
You will find out how to obtain a valid library
card from off-campus.
You will also find out what services are available
to off-campus students.
You will learn different ways to search for and
find relevant information.
The library at Grant MacEwan College is called the Learning Resources
Centre (LRC). It has branches at each campus, and has many services available
to students who are off-campus. The LRC provides access to resources and
services that will help you complete your course assignments.
